- Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is inheritrix of
Organization of the European economic complementation, which was created in 1948 with the
purposes of an effective utilization of the American economic and financial help on
recovering post-war Europe according to « by the Plan Marshall». Actually was OECD
organized in 1961 as a result of signing the appropriate Convention.
- To the basic purposes OECD it is possible to refer the following:
• Assistance to search of paths of an optimum economic development;
• Increase of employment and increase of a scale of living of the population at
preservation of financial stability of the states - members;
• Assistance to economic and social well-being in region OECD by means of coordination
of policy of countries - members;
• Coordination of the help of the states OECD explicating and European postsocialist
countries.
- Now members OECD are almost 30 states. Actively
participates in job OECD European commission. Russian Federation has signed in 1994 the
working agreement with OECD. The decisions on a reception(party) in OECD Hungary,
Slovakia, Czechia, Southern Korea expect.
